Aliberani, a Belmont Bloodstock yearling purchase posted her second career win at Sandown on Wednesday. The three year old Redoute’s Choice filly relished the heavy track to win impressively.
The win is Aliberani’s second consecutive win. She won her maiden at Ballarat over 1400m at the end of May.
Aliberani has now had 5 starts for 2 wins and 2 seconds. She is trained by Peter Moody and was ridden by Luke Nolen at Sandown.
Damon Gabbedy purchased Aliberani on behalf of long time cllient Gary Pfeiler for $250,000 at Inglis Easter in 2010 from the draft of Tyrell Stud. Aliberani is from Woodman mare African Rain who is the daughter of VRC Oaks winner Savana City.
Aliberani is raced by Mr Gary Pfeiler of Sunlands Produce who has enjoyed stakes success with Belmont Bloodstock in the past with Miss Gai Flyer. Congratulations to Gary, the future looks bright for this lovely filly.
