Damon went to Europe in December for the Tattersalls and ARQANA Breeding Stock Sales.
As Australian representative for ARQANA, Damon was delighted with the number of Australians that were in Deauville. In the end, 15 horses were purchased by Australian buyers including 4 purchased by Belmont Bloodstock. Amongst the active Australian buyers were Louis Le Metayer of Astute Bloodstock, Anthony and Selena Mithen of Rosemont Stud and Robert Roulston.
Belmont Bloodstock purchased Shaquira(pictured) (Lot 25, ARQANA) on behalf of a NSW client. The daughter of Redoute’s Choice is already a listed winner in Italy. She will stay on in France and be trained by Mikel Delzangles in Chantilly.
