Congratualtions to Frank Meduri of Meduri Bloodstock.
Belmont Bloodstock Agency purchased PARK HEIRESS on behalf of Mr Meduri for $38,000 from the 2007 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale. This purchase has proven to be a bargin as the pedigree has exploded.
PARK HEIRESS is a 3/4 sister in blood to European Superstar NEW APPROACH (pictured below right) . A champion at 2 & 3 years NEW APPROACH retired as the winner of 8 races, 5 of them at GROUP 1 level from only 11 starts and never finished out of the placegetters.
His last win was the GROUP 1 Champion Stakes at Newmarket where he won impressively by six lengths and smashed the course record and became the first Epsom Derby winner in 40 years to win the Champion Stakes. Trained by the famous Irishman Jim Bolger, he regarded ‘him without a doubt the finest horse beyond a mile that he has ever trained and he has earned himself a well deserved reputation as a true champion’ quoted Bolger.
The pedigree received a further boost when Silent Heir a daughter of PARK HEIRESS produced YOUNG PRETENDER(by Oasis Dream) to win a GROUP 3 as a two year old in France.
I’ts no wonder Mr Meduri has rejected several huge offers from European interests for this valuable daughter of Sadler’s Wells. At the time of purchase PARK HEIRESS was in foal to exciting NOT A SINGLE DOUBT, since produced a cracking colt(pictured below) who will be offered at next years yearling sale under Blue Gum Farm draft.
PARK HEIRESS is due to foal this season to Mr Meduri beloved ELVSTROEM whom he successfully bred and raced in partnership with Mr Frank Tagg and Mr Gary Moffit. Fingers crossed PARK HEIRESS throws a filly as this would increase her value to anything.
