Talented gelding ALL LEGAL won his 4th race at Randwick on the weekend for trainer Kevin Moses, taking his earnings to nearly $300,000 in prizemoney.
All Legal is by underrated Emirates Park stallion, Al Maher and from the Desert Prince mare, Azardi.
Azardi was offered at the 2010 Inglis Easter Broodmare Sale on account of Eliza Park Stud as agent, in foal to their resident stallion Gods Own.
Belmont Bloodstock Agency purchased Azardi for the bargain price of only $11,000.
At the time of the sale, All Legal was the winner of two minor races with $13,000 in earnings. Since the purchase of Azardi, All Legal has gained valuable blacktype by being placed 3rd in the AJC South Pacific Stakes (Gr 3) and 3rd in the Listed Hawkesbury Guineas as well as winning two races at Randwick.
Azardi foaled a lovely bay colt by God’s Own and was sensibly re-mated with Al Maher in the hope of producing a full relation with the ability of All Legal.
It would be a safe bet now to assume that Azardi would have appreciated dramatically in value since her purchase.
Congratulations to Glenn Fraser who is having a great run of success with Group 1 winner Sacred Choice, stakeswinner Be Positive and Varenna Miss who won so well on Australia Day at Caulfield.
