The exciting two year old PLURALISM recorded a brilliant all the way win in Mondays Magic Millions race for Two Year Olds & proved to be a great result for Belmont Bloodstock.
At the 2007 William Inglis Easter broodmare sale Belmont Bloodstock secured lot 878 SPECIE from the annual Woodlands Stud reduction sale. We bought her for $115,000 in foal to LONHRO at the time. This has proven to be an astute purchase as she foaled a colt by LONHRO who was offered as a weanling & sold for $140,000 recouping her purchase price in one hit !
SPECIE has really added value to herself as her 2nd foal PLURALISM has now won his past 2 starts in Adelaide including the prestigous Magic Millions. Champion trainer Lee Freedman has a high opinion of the 2 year old by Strategic who was gelded after his first start & is undefeated in 2 runs since that operation, Lee is considering running him in the Gr 2 WATC Karrakatta Plate later in the month.
SPECIE has since foaled a cracking filly by MOSSMAN in 2008.
