Session 1 of The 2012 Inglis Melbourne Premier sale concluded yesterday. Belmont Bloodstock spent the week prior to the sale inspecting the yearlings on offer at the Oaklands sale complex. Damon ended up signing for 6 lots with a total spend of $690,000
Belmont’s highest priced lot was 261- A filly by Snitzel from talented racemare Stella Maree for $250,000 purchased from the quality draft of Victoria’s Yallambee Stud. The filly was purchased on behalf of Adelaide Gary Pfeiler who raced Miss Gai Flyer. She will be trained in Melbourne by Peter Moody.
Lot 336 A filly by Commands from Zabeel mare Warm Smytzer was purchased for $120,00 on behalf of Vinery who ofcourse combined with Belmont Bloodstock for the purchase of last weekend’s Blue Diamond winner Samaready.
