Promising gelding Niblick (Encosta De Lago – Leica Vista) caught the eye last Saturday at Flemington with a barnstorming win over 1400m for leviathan owner Lloyd Williams.
The lightly raced 5YO has always shown stakes level ability and may now be starting to put it all together. This is good news for Belmont Bloodstock who purchased Niblick’s dam Leica Vista on behalf of Ron Sawyers at Yarradale Stud.
Leica Vista currently has a nice filly weanling by exciting young stallion Soldier’s Tale and was covered again last season by Encosta De Lago.
Niblick now looks set to progressive to stakes level and earn some black type for the family.
