Belmont Bloodstock my have picked up a bargain for client Yarradale Stud at the 2008 Easter Broodmare sale when purchasing Leica Smile in foal to Hussonet for $140,000 from the Swettenham Stud dispersal sale.
Since the purchase, Leica Smile has left two winners besides Salinas (who looks a serious black type contender) she also produced North East Smile who is a winner.
Leica Smile foaled a cracking filly by Hussonet in 2008 and is currently in foal to the highly credentialed son of Stravinsky, Soldiers Tale.
The conqueror of Take Over Target, Soldiers Tale is the Group 1 winner of the Golden Jubilee at Royal Ascot.
