A Belmont Bloodstock broodmare purchase Beauty World gained significant value over the weekend. Beauty World is the dam of Loveyamadly (pictured) the exciting winner of the Listed Adapt Australia Abell Stakes at Moonee Valley on Friday night.
Loveyamadly (Bel Esprit) won by a short half head over talented geldings Go The Knuckle and It Is Written. The win takes her record to 6 wins and 3 placings including a Group 3 placing from her 9 starts. She has now won over $290,000 in prize money. Loveyamadly was a $60,000 yearling purchase for United Syndications who race the mare with Mick Price.
Damon purchased Beauty World for $50,000 at the Inglis Easter Broodmare Sale in 2012 for long time clients Neville and Susan Duncan of Oakland Park Stud in WA. Rogano is the full brother to current boom stallion Not Single Doubt, sire of Blue Diamond winner Miracles of Life. Rogano stood his first season at stud last year for $5,500 and covered a high quality book of mares including Deep Time dam of Group 1 winner No Wine No Song; Alozie, the dam of stakeswinner Gold Rocks; Secrets Out the dam of group 3 winner Translate and talented race mares Jestatune and Vexellium.
Damon has had a long and successful relationship with Neville and Susan Duncan, going back to when he purchased North Bell on their behalf. North Bell went on to be the dam of the champion galloper Northerly.
